Daniela Andrich

Miss Daniela Andrich is a Consultant Reconstructive Urological Surgeon working in partnership with Professor AR Mundy at The Institute of Urology, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and the London Bridge Hospital, forming one of the leading Reconstructive Urology Units world-wide with particular expertise in all aspects of urethral reconstruction, reconstructive management of all types of complications arising from prostate cancer treatment and other urological aetiologies requiring reconstructive surgery. She commenced her medical education 1988 in Ulm, Germany. Having been awarded a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship she came over to The Middlesex Hospital, University College London in 1995 for her final medical year studies where the wish to pursue a career in surgery was born.

As a full-time Consultant in Reconstructive Urological Surgery Daniela operates 2 days/week in the NHS and 1 day/week in the private sector. Daniela takes overall responsibility for the running of the Reconstructive Unit and is reponsible for the surgical training of junior trainees and a senior fellow in reconstructive urology. Daniela co-directs the long-term development of clinical and research objectives of the Reconstructive Urology Unit. In her role as Honorary Senior Lecturer, Daniela teaches UCL medical students and also participates and organises the annual post-graduate Masterclass in Reconstructive Surgery, held at the Institute of Urology, UCLH.
