Tamsin Greenwell

Miss Tamsin Greenwell graduated from Manchester University in 1990. She did her early surgical training in Manchester and Sheffield before moving to London for her higher urological training. She is married to Mr Jason Bernard Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at St George’s hospital but assures us that they do not talk shop over the dinner table.

She has a special interest in female and reconstructive urology, in particular the management of male and female urinary incontinence, uretero, vesico, or urethrovaginal fistulae, urethral diverticula in men and women, urethral stricture disease in men, and reconstruction of the bladder following its removal in the treatment in cancer and other conditions.

She also has a special interest in surgical education. She runs the MSc and Diploma in Urology courses for UCL and the pan Thames urology specialist trainees teaching programme. She is also the RCS Eng Urology Tutor – charged with the development and running of skills course for consultant and trainee urological surgeons. Her hobbies are running, yoga and shopping.
